This entrance is at Elinvar and Sapphire in Chino Hills.
This is the only “vehicle” entrance into the camping and day use area of the State Park. Take the 71 freeway in Chino Hills to Soquel Canyon Road, exit toward the hills and look for signs to the State Park. Turn left on Elinvar and then left on Sapphire. The entrance is immediately on the right. Take the dirt road into the hills for three miles to the Ranger Station and the barn at the Rolling M Ranch area.
This entrance re-opened in June 2015. It had been closed while State Parks constructed an all-weather road.
