Industry Stops Paying on Solar Factory Work

Lawsuits filed by the Cities of Chino Hills and Diamond Bar have the City of Industry focused on record requests and not the advancement of the solar factory itself. The factory was planned for the Tres Hermanos property (Upper Tonner Canyon) and bills submitted by the leasee have been unpaid because the City Council has yet to increase the cap beyond the original $20M. Another Big Win in Yorba Linda

Orange County Superior Court Judge Claster ruled in favor of residents and environmental groups fighting a dangerous hillside development (Esperanza Hills) next to Chino Hills State Park above Yorba Linda. He ordered that all project approvals be revoked and the Environmental Impact Report to be rewritten. He also gave the County a deadline (of mid-July) for complying with the order. Industry Fires its City Manager

Things just keep getting more and more interesting with the City of Industry. The Council just fired the City Manager. One of the City Council members said: “We appreciate Mr. Philips’ assistance over the past several years as the council was committed to adopting the reforms recommended in the State Controller’s Audit.” Time will tell if the Council actually does want to change its ways.
