The Cities of Diamond Bar and Chino Hills are turning up the heat on the City of Industry for its discounted purchase of the Tres Hermanos land. Each city filed a second lawsuit focused on the California Environmental Quality Act, Gift of Public Funds, and Due Process Violations. See the press release from each city in the comments below. Many of the projects Hills For Everyone is involved with are at the Wildland Urban Interface. These locations are particularly difficult to defend, especially when Santa Ana Winds are a factor. It is helpful to have OCFA take this approach–an outside investigation–and review of its responses to the #CanyonFire2.
