New Exhibit at State Park Discovery Center

If you haven’t already been to the Chino Hills State Park Discovery Center in Brea (4500 Carbon Canyon Road) there will be a new special exhibit starting January 6th and running on weekends through January 28th. Ridgeline Case Resolved, “We” Won!

Hills For Everyone, along with many other organizations, signed on as a “friend of the court” in a case brought by residents in the City of Orange.  In a unanimous decision, the State Supreme Court ruled in “our” favor.  The case stems from a site called Ridgeline, where a developer had proposed converting open space into housing by relying on an old General Plan designation, even though a new Plan was in place stating it was open space.  Residents overturned … Read More
