The City of Yorba Linda developed a Housing Element Update that was conditionally approved by the state, pending a Measure B vote by Yorba Linda voters. Measure Z as it was known failed at the ballot box, which required the City to try again on its Housing Element Update. View the E-Alert for Yorba Linda residents.
Stink Beetle

Often called stink bugs, these are actually stink beetles. Another common name is circus beetle. They get that funny name because in their defensive posture, they stand on their head to spray the stink.

Thanks to the Puente Hills Habitat Preservation Authority for remembering those that have contributed to saving lands on the western side of the Puente-Chino Hills Wildlife Corridor. These individuals may be gone, but their legacies live on in the hills, in the streams, and the wildlife that roam free.

In early October, we had to leave the Chino Hills State Park campground at 5:30 AM for another event. Here is what we mean when we say we protected the ridgelines. Once inside the park, you wouldn’t know that millions of people are on the other side. Do you like this look?
