Did you know that efforts to control coyotes that eat family pets rarely help? First, the coyotes that are killed are not necessarily the offenders. Second, the coyotes that evade the death sentence are likely more wily and their genes stay in the gene pool. Keep your pets and their food inside. Hazing: yelling, throwing, hosing – is recommended by the Humane Society. Learn more on the Humane Society’s website.
