Another new and different event to support our efforts to Stop Madrona is planned for Saturday, April 25th. This event is a Garden Tour of homes throughout Brea. Eight families have volunteered to showcase their beautiful gardens. Some feature drought tolerant landscaping – at various stages of development – while others feature resort-type atmosphere. We hope you get inspired, get ideas, and join in the fun. Tickets will be available soon. Stay tuned.
Challenge Grant: New Monthly Donors

Hills For Everyone has received a challenge grant from an anonymous donor. Help us meet the challenge. For every hillside supporter that signs up as a monthly donor at $10 or more per month, the anonymous donor will donate $50 per new enrollee up to 10 individuals. The Hills For Everyone Fundraising Team is working on a spring Garden Tour. If you have a green thumb or know someone with a green thumb whose garden we should consider including on our Tour, please let us know by emailing us by Friday, February 20. We are looking for a diverse array of garden themes, from tropical to roses, English gardens to drought-tolerant and everything in between.

We are simply overjoyed to report that our challenge grant met with great success. Our generous and loyal hillside supporters donated $4,218 and it was matched by our anonymous donor with another $2,000. In the last five days of the year we brought in over $6,200. THANK YOU!!
