The fourth entrance to Chino Hills State Park is a bit more difficult to get to because you need to park in Corona (Riverside County) and walk roughly a mile along the Santa Ana River Trail to Coal Canyon in Anaheim Hills. Carbon Canyon

4500 Carbon Canyon Road in Brea. Another entrance to Chino Hills State Park is in Brea adjacent to Carbon Canyon Regional Park on Carbon Canyon Road (Highway 142) at the Discovery Center. It is safest to park your vehicle at State Park or the Regional Park. Fees do apply in both lots.  There is parking for equestrian trailers. Bane Canyon

This entrance is at Elinvar and Sapphire in Chino Hills. This is the only “vehicle” entrance into the camping and day use area of the State Park. Take the 71 freeway in Chino Hills to Soquel Canyon Road, exit toward the hills and look for signs to the State Park. Turn left on Elinvar and then left on Sapphire.
