We are thrilled to recap the award ceremony from Thursday, March 17th. Claire Schlotterbeck, Executive Director of Hills For Everyone, received the 2016 Conservation Award for her work establishing Chino Hills State Park and protecting the entire Puente-Chino Hills Wildlife Corridor from the Whittier Audubon President Jennifer Schmahl. In addition to getting the award, she also received thoughtful acknowledgements from others, including: Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe (represented by Field Deputy Andrea Avila), the City of Whittier (represented by Mayor Fernando Dutra), the Puente Hills Habitat Authority (represented by Executive Director Andrea Gullo). Thanks to Hills For Everyone Board President Mike Hughes and his wife for joining in the festivities, as well as other hillside supporters for your attendance. It was a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day!
