Orange County Supervisors nailed it! They approved a 340 unit project (Esperanza Hills) in the hills above Yorba Linda that uses twice the water an average resident used (before the 36% mandatory cutbacks) and it will be in a known fire corridor (its burned multiple times). Orange County Fire Authority said this development would act as a fire break for the older homes. Buyer beware! In what universe is someone’s home sold as a firebreak for someone else’s home?
