The Carbon Canyon Fire Safe Council formed in 2001 under the supervision and support of the Chino Valley Fire District. After the Freeway Complex Fire in 2008, it expanded to include all of Carbon Canyon–both Brea and Chino Hills. On Sunday, September 8, the Carbon Canyon Fire Safe Council will be hosting informational presentations from 2-4 PM at Western Hills Golf Club at 1800 Carbon Canyon Road in Chino Hills. Presentations on fire safety and information on preparation and evacuation will help prepare you for this fire season. Hope to see you there!
