Starting at the Rolling M Ranch barn, we’ll hike the hills to the northwest with some great views of the park. This is a 4.5 miles, 1,000 foot gain hike. Meet at 9 am at the Barn at the Rolling M Ranch, which is 3 miles up the road at the park entrance at 4721 Sapphire Road in Chino Hills. Ridesharing encouraged. $5 fee for parking. Note: The park is located 10 miles northwest of Corona. Take the 91-Freeway to Highway 71-North, turn left at Soquel Canyon. Proceed to Elinvar and turn left. Elinvar merges into Sapphire to the left, the park entrance (GPS: 33?57’16″N, 117?42’7″W) is located on the right at 4721 Sapphire Road. Then go up the road past the gate for 15 minutes, or 3 miles, to the Rolling M barn.
