Here’s a thought: This is just another thing on the long list about what is wrong with the City of Industry even existing. The taxes generated by these businesses don’t benefit the surrounding residents like they would if that wealth were spread around. They don’t do anything special for these businesses, they are just allowed to concentrate them into one area.
For them to pretend they are a boon to the surrounding area is laughable. Industry is the rich neighbor with the high fence that woke up on third base and thinks they hit a triple. Where is the study that shows how much the surrounding communities would have if the City of Industry did not exist?
