On this National Public Lands Day, we want you to know that Hills For Everyone is paying close attention to the state budget and allocations we may be able to use to connect, protect, and restore the entire Puente-Chino Hills Wildlife Corridor. From the California Natural Resources Agency briefing yesterday, here is what we know:
$758M available for the Natural Resources Agency and its departments and state conservancies
$200M in the habitat resilience package
$125M for habitat restoration in the water package
$105M for wildlife corridors (including fish passage)
$180M to build park infrastructure.
We hope you can spend time outside today! And know that your support allows us to be successful.
