Sometimes reptiles catch us off guard and a lot of times we only hear amphibians near a creek, but these photographed species are all found throughout the Puente-Chino Hills. Remember to keep your distance–especially when it comes to snakes and allow them to get off the trail safely. (Click on the image to enlarge it!)
