AB 2021 Passes First Committee

On the great news front… The bill we’ve partnered on (AB 2021) with Assemblyman Phillip Chen made it through its first committee (Assembly Water, Parks, and Wildlife) yesterday on consent. It is now scheduled to go to Assembly Appropriations. Keep your fingers crossed! AB2021 is scheduled for hearing before the Assembly Water, Parks, and Wildlife Committee on Tuesday, March 24. The bill language is quite simple and direct, view it online. This Committee needs to hear from you. Support letters can be sent at any time, but for this particular Committee to consider your letter it needs to be received by Tuesday, March 17th. Hills For Everyone is pleased to announce we’ve partnered with Assemblymember Phillip Chen to introduce a bill to expand Chino Hills State Park and require the Department of Parks and Recreation to take the lands it has always envisioned to have, into its ownership.
