Over 25 years ago, the effort to save our hills took a giant leap forward when elected leaders across the hills and across counties came together to form the Wildlife Corridor Conservation Authority (WCCA). A housing project that would have severed the Corridor was proposed in Powder Canyon in La Habra Heights.
