While we are glad you are enjoying Chino Hills State Park, but hope your experience isn’t diminished by a parking ticket when you return to the car! As a friendly reminder, no matter what park you visit be sure to check the parking regulations, avoid red zones, and avoid fire hydrants. Read the Chino Champion article.
We are go grateful for the volunteers that installed the second Welcome Sign at the Discovery Center. It is over by the Telegraph Canyon Trailhead at the end of the parking lot. The posts still need to be trimmed, but the signage is reduced and we hope it provides help to those looking for information on the park, its hours, trails, and do’s and don’t’s.
Our bill to protect more land by adding it into Chino Hills State Park was featured in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin. If SB 266 is successful, the Park will grow by about 1,530 acres. Thanks to Senator Josh Newman and his staff for their great work on the legislation. The bill’s next stop is the Appropriations Committee. Read the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin article.
