State Park Road Scheduled to Open

Good news!  The Chino Hills entrance (off of Elinvar and Sapphire) to Chino Hills State Park is scheduled to open on Monday, June 15th.  As details become available about the opening and availability of campgrounds the following weekend, we will post them.  Congratulations to State Parks and the contractor for working to achieve this new entry road, which makes the park more accessible to the public.

Chino Hills General Plan Update

Last week the Chino Hills City Council passed the long awaited update of the General Plan. They set aside the issue of zoning for the 3,000 acres of hills along the 71 freeway.  Landowners have suggested the land is zoned one unit per five acres.
