Meeting on Proposed Solar Factory
The Cities of Chino Hills and Diamond Bar met last week to see if more of the mystery around the City of Industry’s proposed solar factory on Tres Hermanos (Upper Tonner Canyon) could be determined. Between the two cities there are four lawsuits filed to stop the project from moving forward. Numerous high ranking officials in the City of Industry have been recently fired. Industry Stops Paying on Solar Factory Work
Lawsuits filed by the Cities of Chino Hills and Diamond Bar have the City of Industry focused on record requests and not the advancement of the solar factory itself. The factory was planned for the Tres Hermanos property (Upper Tonner Canyon) and bills submitted by the leasee have been unpaid because the City Council has yet to increase the cap beyond the original $20M.
