Senator Ed Hernandez, whose district includes the City of Industry, wrote a scathing OpEd in the San Gabriel Valley Tribune. He had put legislation on hold that would expand accountability in the City of Industry by including additional housing, and therefore voters, within the city. Most of the housing is under City control, and those residing in it get rental rates well below market rate.
