We are reeling from the sudden loss a dear friend to the cause of protecting our region. Jeff Yann, a deeply engaged activist from Hacienda Heights died in a snorkeling accident in Hawaii. We are thrilled to recap the award ceremony from Thursday, March 17th. Claire Schlotterbeck, Executive Director of Hills For Everyone, received the 2016 Conservation Award for her work establishing Chino Hills State Park and protecting the entire Puente-Chino Hills Wildlife Corridor from the Whittier Audubon President Jennifer Schmahl.
