New Leader at Habitat Authority

We are thrilled that Michael Hughes is the new Board President of the Puente Hills Habitat Preservation Authority. Congrats on the new responsibilities, Mike! His background, knowledge, and love of the Wildlife Corridor will serve this new role well! As a side note, Mike has served on the Hills For Everyone Board for years–currently as President. Visitors Asked to Stay on Trails

Many of our local natural lands are experiencing a wildflower bloom. Did you know picking the flowers is not allowed? (They are a protected resource.) State Park Proposed Expansion

Word is now on the street via this Champion Newspapers article. Hills For Everyone has partnered with Senator Ling Ling Chang to introduce legislation that allows for targeted willing seller acquisitions to expand and complete Chino Hills State Park. Wildlands & Wildfire Workshop

Today we were at the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) focusing on a study of wildfire, water, wildlands, and policy. The study being worked on is just at the beginning and will take a few years to complete. We will keep you posted how it impacts and influences the Wildlife Corridor.
