It appears the regional park over the former Puente Hills Landfill site is moving forward after a settlement agreement was reached with the County of LA and the Sanitation Districts. The next meeting on the Puente Hills Landfill Park Master Plan is on Wednesday, June 29th at 6:30 PM. The Public Review Draft Environmental Impact Report will be presented to the community and stakeholders. Following a presentation, the consultant team will facilitate a discussion and conduct a question and answer session. The LA County Parks Department is doing a good job advertising the meeting.
