Happy Earth Day! For more than 40 years Hills For Everyone has worked with its partners to protect more than 19,000 acres of natural lands in the Puente-Chino Hills Wildlife Corridor. With the holiday season in full swing, we thought we’d remind everyone that our favorite ‘hemiparasitic plant” (aka mistletoe) is protected in our parklands. This means, while it is fun to “kiss under the mistletoe” (virus aside!), if it is found inside Chino Hills State Park or on the Puente Hills Habitat Preservation Authority Preserve-removing it is illegal.
