Puente Hills Landfill Park (Not So Much)

The Puente Hills Landfill was to be converted to a passive park after the landfill’s closure. LA County Parks staff however, has thrown in everything but the kitchen sink in its proposal for the new county regional park. There are parking lots, gondolas, a giant concrete slide, a zip line, two BMX bike skills courses, stair climbs, bike rentals and an amphitheater.
