Hills For Everyone is concerned about proposed rollback of two National Monuments in California. Call your federal representatives and ask them to defend public lands because a threat to public lands anywhere is a threat to public lands everywhere. ☎️If you care about National Monuments or the Wildlife Corridor, call or email your federal elected officials. HEAR THE TRUTH: In the Los Angeles County, Measure PH campaign, claims are being made the Puente Hills Habitat Authority is part of the National Recreation Area and that the Authority receives federal funding. San Gabriels National Monument, Economic Driver

It seems the designation of the San Gabriel’s as a National Monument is already paying off for the local economy. Ten clean up crews and a new forest manager have been hired already, and fundraising campaign was launched and is expected to top $3M for additional resources. More attention is now going to this new monument than before. This is good news. Check out the article in the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.
