Puente Hills Park Moves Forward

With the Puente Hills Landfill now closed, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisor’s voted on it’s “next iteration.”  In a 5-0 vote the project’s Environmental Impact Report and Park Master Plan were accepted.  This means trails and other amenities like a gondola, amphitheater, bicycle skills course and more will be added onto the old landfill site.  The new park includes about 117 acres.   Read the article published by the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.

Puente Hills Park Meeting, EIR Released

The next meeting on the Puente Hills Landfill Park Master Plan is on Wednesday, June 29th at 6:30 PM.  The Public Review Draft Environmental Impact Report will be presented to the community and stakeholders. Following a presentation, the consultant team will facilitate a discussion and conduct a question and answer session.  The LA County Parks Department is doing a good job advertising the meeting.
