PUBLIC Lands Act Would Save Land

The bill would protect over 500 miles of rivers and more than one million acres of public lands, including in Northwest California, the Los Angeles region, and the Central Coast. San Gabriel Mountains National Monument Advances

Newly seated Senator Alex Padilla is advancing the creation of the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument through recently introduced legislation. The bill also proposes to improve and protect one million acres of land throughout California. The National Monument includes the western lands of the Puente-Chino Hills Wildlife Corridor.
