Commerce Muscles Into Tres Hermanos Fight

Wowza! The City of Commerce is now trying to buy the Tres Hermanos property in Tonner Canayon. The meeting of the Oversight Board, originally scheduled for today, was cancelled and this item was inadvertently put on the agenda, which caused a flurry of concern. Diamond Bar, Chino Hills, and Industry have been negotiating an agreement, but Commerce now is inserting itself into the mix. Read the Orange County Register article.

The idea of a short cut to the Olinda Landfill off of the 57 freeway at Tonner Canyon has raised its ugly head in the Brea City Council race.
