The taxes generated by these businesses don’t benefit the surrounding residents like they would if that wealth were spread around. A solar farm sounds environmental, but Industry can’t be trusted. Industry’s minions sabotaged the purchase of the Boy Scout Reservation in 2001 when it could have gone to a land trust. Industry’s leaders are now actively spreading the lie that 10,000 houses would go on the land if they don’t buy it. But zoning would not allow 10,000 houses.
