We have been touring various sites where developments are proposed next to the State Park. We toured the Hidden Oaks property (shown left) in Chino Hills to learn about the changes they had made to the project. Though the changes were not impressive, the plentiful rains of 2017 certainly brought the vegetation on the site to life–that was impressive. We also toured the mitigation bank located in the Soquel Canyon portion of Chino Hills. This land lies adjacent to the Hidden Oaks project. Mitigation banks allow others to offset project impacts occurring elsewhere by purchasing credits for restoration work.
